CVFD MEMBERSHIP


Those interested in joining the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department
should get an application from any current member
of the CVFD. Or stop by the fire station when somebody
is there. In order to be elgible to joing the CVFD
you must meet the following requirements


1. Must be 18 years of age or older
2. Must hold a valid Texas Driver's License
3. Must live or work within 2 miles of Clifton
4. Must be of good moral Character


Application Process
1. Turn in Application.
2. Application brought up before department members.
3. Oral Interview Board.
4. Department votes on 90 day probation
5. Upon completion of 90 probation department votes again for full membership.


Those interested and who meet the requirements can
pick up their application and turn in back in
to the member who gave it to them or drop it off
to the fire station.

The application process takes approx. 2 months.
