5 members of the Clifton Fire Department attended to 80th annual Texas A&M Municipal
Firefighting School in College Station. Members attending were Chris Blanton, Rocky Rummel, Kim Jarratt, Patrick Wilson, and Rory Doss.
Every year thousands of Firefighters from all over the state of Texas and the United states come to College Station for the Annual
Municipal Fire School. This school is the most well known Firefighting School in the world. People come from all 50 states and
all over the world to train at the State of the Art Brayton Fire Training Field. Each student must take what they learn throughout the
week and put it to use in the form of a written exam. Only after passing this exam will a student get credit for the course.

Chris Blanton-Firefighting Phase 4.
Kim Jarratt- Firefighting Phase 3.
Patrick Wilson-Basic Fire Investigator Phase 1.
Rocky Rummel-Fire Instructor 1.
Rory Doss- Fire Prevention Specialist 1.

NFPA 1041 Instructor I
This course is designed to provide participants
the necessary skills and knowledge required
for Fire Instructor I as described in NFPA 1041.
Participants who successfully complete the
course will be eligible for certification testing
through Pro Board and the Texas Commission
on Fire Protection.
